Praise that’s due.
There are an incredible amount of hardworking people out there, striving to make the world a better place. Although many organizations receive praise time and time again for achieving so much, often the ones behind the curtain making it happen go unseen. This is why the decision was made to highlight key members of Aqua Africa, through an illustrative portrait series. Each illustration was made digitally—one vector point at a time— to reflect the organization’s new brand aesthetic. The result is vibrant, breathtaking, embracing brand brand colors and layers of textural elements inspired by east African textiles found from the communities being served. The portraits appear on social media and online content, print materials, and in video productions.
